HP’s Newest Executive Ari Jaaksi on the Palm Pre

It looks like the new executive that joined HP from Nokia to head up the webOS group has a sweet spot in his heart for webOS. In fact, he’s had it for quite some time now. Check out what he said in his blog on May 1, 2010:

I used to use a Palm Pre a lot. What a great device. What an astounding software. I was so disappointed to see it not getting the traction it deserves. I really hope that now that it has found a new home @ HP it will rise again! And by the way, I have an extra sweet spot for Pre. It shares a lot of stuff with Maemo and N900.

Okay, Ari, let’s see what you can do now that you’re in charge of the whole thing, eh?
