While the Palm Pre is a great smartphone, and I’m a huge fan, I must admit that it’s not terribly close to perfect. With that in mind, here’s a wish list for things to be added or changed on the Pre (in no particular order). Feel free to add to this list in comments, and I’ll update it over time.

Well, today’s the day. The Pre was officially released this morning, and I’m guessing that most folks who really, really wanted one weren’t disappointed. My Sprint corporate store in Thousand Oaks, CA had 40 Pre on hand, of which they set aside three for replacements. I showed up at around 6:10 am for an 8:00 am opening, and the last Pre ticket was handed out at around 7:30 am. I didn’t pay...
