Well, it’s that time, folks. Palm’s second Hot Apps contest, this one highlighting PDK apps, is over, and the winners are set in stone.
It’s no surprise that Angry Birds, the most popular game on iOS and a hugely popular game on webOS, took the paid apps contest by storm when it was released a few weeks ago. It’s a deserving winner.

Looks like Nokia and AT&T are following in Palm’s footsteps by offering some cash to developers in their own version of Palm’s Hot Apps contest. According to BGR:

If you’d like to keep up with the apps currently leading the Palm PDK Hot Apps contest, just go check out the leaderboard. There aren’t so many games available today (although, the majority seem to be outstanding), but that should change now the webOS 1.4.5 is available on Sprint.

Although the currently running PDK Hot Apps contest is in limbo given the delay of webOS 1.4.5 (which allows the wide distribution of PDK apps), the first Hot Apps contest ran without a hitch. Palm has announced the winners, and they’re all worthy developers.
