No surprise here, but Angry Birds has taken the #1 spot on the Palm Hot PDK Apps chart. It’s simply an amazing game, and so that’s entirely as it should be (no offense to any of the other great webOS developers out there).

Long-time Palm OS developer Astraware has released their first two games for webOS, OddBlob and Astraware Sudoku. Having played both, I can say that they perform well and are loads of fun (although I’m not terribly good at Sudoku, having not nearly enough patience for it).

If you’d like to keep up with the apps currently leading the Palm PDK Hot Apps contest, just go check out the leaderboard. There aren’t so many games available today (although, the majority seem to be outstanding), but that should change now the webOS 1.4.5 is available on Sprint.
